S200 AIS SART – IMO SOLAS-Compliant Search and Rescue Transmitter

The S200 AIS SART is an IMO SOLAS-compliant Search and Rescue Transmitter designed to help commercial vessels and SOLAS-regulated ships meet mandatory GMDSS carriage requirements.

When activated, the S200 transmits eight AIS position reports per minute, providing continuous, real-time location updates to nearby AIS-equipped vessels and rescue authorities. Using AIS Class A position reporting technology, it enables fast detection and accurate tracking of survivors or liferafts during search and rescue operations, significantly improving response times in emergency situations.
